Notice: Subscription Fees 2011
We are fast approaching the time of year again when subscription fees become applicable. I thought I would take this opportunity to provide advance details of the deadlines and some important changes that you must be aware of.
The subscription renewal notice will be sent out to all CIOB members during November; this will also include your membership card. At this stage you have the option to pay your subscription fee in one instalment or set up a direct debit which can either be an annual or 6 monthly instalments plan (Jan – June). The first payment will be taken in January.
It is imperative that we have the right postal address and email address for you. Please take a couple of moments to update any changes to your personal information on the Members Area of the website. Otherwise please contact your Centre Administrator directly and she can amend your details.
The final reminder letters will be sent out on 1st February 2011 and all members failing to pay their subscription fees by 1st March will have their membership terminated at midday. Once your membership has been terminated you may not be eligible to come back into membership at the same grade. Please avoid this situation and ensure that you either pay in full or have set up a direct debit.
For 2011 those members who are experiencing financial difficulties may be eligible for the concessionary rate of £50.00 for the year. However you must apply for consideration by 31st December 2010. Applications received after this date will not be considered and full subscription fees will become applicable.
During January/February we will be undertaking our annual retention campaign calling all members who have outstanding balance on their account. These calls are designed to act as a reminder and we will be able to take credit/debit card payments for the full amount at this time. Unfortunately, at this time we will not be able to offer the option for you to pay in monthly instalments, this option needs to be set up and activated when you receive your subscription renewal notice which is sent out in November.
